Wired CCTV systems are the most traditional, regularly used on larger properties where reliability is key. These systems are not susceptible to interference from wireless signals due to the physical connection Wired and wireless CCTV systems can both provide high levels of protection, but it's important we understand your needs and learn more about your current security setup before recommending the best option for your needs.

I recently had an Intruder alarm system and a CCTV System installed by MJ Security Systems and from the initial discussion with Jimmy to the complete conclusion nothing was to much effort. The engineers did a great job and we are very happy with the end result, thank you and well done for your professionalism during our installation. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company.

We have been using MJ Security for the last 15 years for all our sites for both Monitored Alarms and Monitored CCTV. These guys are the best in the business and also adhere to my Insurance requirements being NSI Gold. Very rarely get faults in the systems but when we do they are sorted within hours.

We had our system installed nearly 3 years ago It was fitted very professionally and there was absolutely no mess the guy was very tidy and explained everything to us before he left. We took the maintenance and have had 2 annual inspections since with the same professional service We would highly recommend them

I wish there was an option for zero star! MJ Security is very lucky that I have given them 1 star. Michelle, the owner, needs to take care of clients or we all disappear very soon. The company is fantastic sending bills within minutes but dealing with cases. and YEOMAN ARC are one of the worst people I have ever dealt with. They don't respond after normal working hours.
I think they have one or two employees picking calls on random basis. I did ask Michelle to change the ARC and use a better one, but as she is the big boss, she has decided not to!. I will update this review with the full story of what happened on Monday

My new build property had an alarm fitted from this company. I had the alarm serviced every year but because of pets, it was rarely used. When I went away the alarm kept going off and I had put this down to the possibility of spiders on the sensors. The observations of my neighbours led me to believe this was not the case but due to the delivery of post.
The sensitivity of the alarm had not been picked up at service and I was reluctant to pay a call out charge for what I believed to be an installation issue. I do not believe the alarm is fit for purpose. The communication over my complaint was poor/ non-existent. I have cancelled my contract and will switch to another provider. Update: I telephoned this company several times.
Each time I was told someone would call me back. No call was received. I wrote an email giving the company one final chance to put right the problem with the placement of my sensor. They did not respond. I then had to have a whole new system put in by a new company.

Not very good. We had MJ security set up an alarm system in our house in 2007. We decided not to have a contract, and would pay for services & repairs when needed. We have ticked along like this until this week, when l made a call to see if an engineer could come and look and repair a keypad as some of the digits were not registering At first they could not find any of our details, apparently we were not in their system.
I was then told that basically we would have to pay a call out charge of192 plus parts, if the engineer did not have the correct part the l would have to pay another 192 call out charge again! Having explained it was the keypad and can they just replace this, l thought having to pay an additional call out charge was unacceptable. I was then given another option of taking out a contract for 117 and then l would only have to pay 80 call out plus parts.
I could not believe that they were trying to tie me into a contract & still expect me to pay call out & parts. I was then informed that our keypad was obsolete but we could reprogram it not using the numbers on the keypad that weren't registering properly! This service would cost me 192 I will not be using MJ Systems again and would neither recommend them. There are plenty of local companies that offer their service with a contract and do not charge a call out fee or parts.

Initial communication OK, installation was clean and tidy and payments agreed to be made over instalments, where the issues arises is the after sales. Trying to have anyone call, email or communicate is not possible. The monitor installed was less than 18 months old and failed, they confirmed its a recognised issue within the company but not prepared to replace, only had a 12 month warranty.
The engineer confirmed its a know issue with the supplier and may need to look at changing. Charged 100.00 call out and request 110.00 plus VAT for the replacement, appreciate they are a business but a little steep but had no choice. Tried to challenged the warranty but no one responded to calls or any emails until I threaten a review on Google but still not budging!
To cap it off I receive a request for a service only a few days later 150.00 plus VAT. I recommend them to a friend and they completed the installation, a fault arose within 2 months and tried to charge a call out fee!
