1 Call-Lock Surgeon

We had our man door go askew when our garage pad was levelled. The door would not latch closed as the door was crooked within the frame. Other vendors said we needed to reframe or replace and would not consider trying to repair. Paul from Lock / Door Surgeons came by and was able to make adjustments to make the door work and fit fairly well within the frame.

Not perfect, but serviceable. Although a reframing or replacement was discussed, we did not want to go down that costly route at this time and Paul was more than helpful at making things work at a much lower cost than reframing would have been. Thanks also to Pat and Rita for arranging for Paul to attend the job quite quickly (next day).

Needed pair of cables for my garage door and the staff I can't remember the guys name but he was super knowledgeable and knew instantly what I needed, I was in and out in 5 min. Thanks this was at the west end location

This is a very bad company, they charge 93 dollas for just coming to your house and do nothing. As soon as the technician review the cabinet to open said it will be 350 just for open and they don't tell you this exorbitant amount. I ask for and approximate and never gave me over the phone. So disappointing.

Was told they can't quote me on the phone for fob replacement, have to go down to the store. Get there, looks up my vehicle in a book and provides a I 30 seconds, it was an odd interaction in store as well, rep seemed preoccupied with a personal call he was struggling to make. What a great way to treat a customer, instead of just admitting you had no clue, you sent me to the store!? What waste of gas and time. Enjoy the 1 star review for being less than.

Wish I could give more stars! I called for my office and they were able to come out the same day and re-key the locks and make a new door more safe. The tech (Matt) was super professional and went over everything perfectly! Very satisfied with his work and with how fast they helped us out.

I called and with detailed explanation of what I wanted done. Got quoted $185, they came and did the job and said it was $368. Complete lack of transparency. I wouldn't suggest this company to anyone. A place like this shouldn't even be in business.

I needed a car key cut and Tyler did an amazing job. Friendly and fast service. It ended up being way cheaper than I thought ($20). I definitely recommend these guys.

I agree with all the one star reviews. This place is a rip off and the waist of skin called staff are rude. To top it off the 20% return fee that they have is what's allowing the owner of the place to live in mexico. My advice is to shop somewhere else. their prices are astronomical compared with everyone else in the business. take my advice don't shop there

Went in looking to get a vehicle key cut and programmed, overheard the guy in the back say "Tell him $250 just to try", then someone else came back out front and rudely told me they would not program it period unless I buy the keyfob from them because some of the keyfobs online do not work on Canadian vehicles. The remote was ordered from GM but I did not have my receipt with me, not sure why the rudeness was required but I regret walking in the door and won't be back! I walked into a place down the street and they helped me out no problem whatsoever.

This place is a rip off. Went in to get a key programmed. I had a key and it was cut already. All I needed was programming. First he quoted me $245 then he wasn't sure. Then he said since you're bringing in a key of your own, we can program it for $195. Like it was a deal. Crazy! Went to the dealership, they did it for $85. If you're twice the price of the dealership, you're a rip off. Period!

We locked ourselves out of our house in Harpenden and needed an emergency locksmith. We decided to get 3 quotes because we had no idea what it should cost. Lock Surgeon were by far the cheapest and arrived in 20 minutes. We were very happy with the service and can highly recommend them.

I called Lock Surgeon because I needed a uPVC lock specialist. (Another company told me the parts were no longer available and I would need to replace the whole door.) Lock Surgeon came round, looked at the door, went to his van and came back in with the part that I needed. 20 minutes later my door was fixed at a fraction of the cost of the previous quote. Highly recommended locksmith in Dunstable.

We have just moved into our first home and our solicitor recommended that we change the door locks for security. We got three quotes and Lock Surgeon were by far the best price. Neil came round the same day and fitted the new locks for us. We were really happy with the service that we received and we would definitely recommend Neil to anyone that needs a reliable locksmith.

Neil did a fabulous job in fitting our new lock. The price was great, timekeeping excellent would certainly use Lock Surgeon Locksmiths in the future and recommend them to family and friends. We are glad we chose Lock Surgeon to fix our front door. Neil turned up when he said he would, was very polite and friendly and he didn’t increase the price even though the door had more problems than we first thought and he had to drive to Berkhampstead to get more parts. Very pleased.
