If you are responsible for Fire safety or are a resident of a high-rise, multi-occupancy property you will be only too aware of the increased awareness of the need for enhanced fire detection and evacuation processes. The former 'stay put' guidance is now regarded as unsafe and has been replaced by a 'simultaneous evacuation' strategy. Many properties have deployed a waking watch service; this is a fire protection service and involves marshals patrolling to lookout for potential signs of a fire. They are also responsible for raising the alarm.

I recently moved to the Trowbridge area and there was an old alarm system installed within the property. I called the AlertSystems security service department and spoke to an extremely helpful and friendly lady named Shanon. Our Alarm was making a noise when the door opened and she quickly diagnosed the issue and told us how to stop this from driving us mad! She also explained what services and plans they offer, this is definitely something we will look at/consider once we are settled.

At the renewal point of our contract, the decision to extend the contract was a simple one. I have found Alertsystems to be helpful and knowledgeable all the way through, the initial handover went smoothly with all outstanding issues from the old alarm company being closed off with ease. Since then we have spent in excess of 50k on upgrades to our systems, that have always met the spec and exceded the user expectations.
The installations have gone well even when I have made it hard, by restricting what areas they can work in and at what time. Where faults have arisen on the system I have found that the response time of the service team to be first class with most faults being resolved on the first visit.

We paid 10s of thousands of pounds for so called comprehensive system and really got not much more than what an ebay system could offer. System was fitted 3 months ago and so far engineer has been out 4 times. Also if you are interested in purchasing please ask the sales rep what there fault response time is because 48 hours just for a call back is extremely poor and most of the time that call never comes. personally i would avoid these as you really do not get what you have paid for and backup is pretty much non existent.

We have recently had a whole system installed by Alertysystems including CCTV, Access Control and external and internal alarm and the installation and aftersales service has been exemplary. Of course with such a large system we have had teething problems and management issues but each call has been dealt with promptly and efficiently. May not be the cheapest out there but you certainly get what you pay for!
