Black Crouchman

As a general guide for process serving and all other types of investigative work, Black, Crouchman charge on an hourly rate of 30 per hour plus mileage of 45p per mile. We only charge you for work undertaken on your particular assignment. However, we also realise that on certain assignments there is a need to know exactly how much our invoice will be. In these cases we are pleased to work for a fee fixed by agreement. Dependant upon the information required, prices available upon request.

Two questions form the basis of an initial enquiry from the majority of clients; can we help in serving the process and how much will we charge? On the first question the answer is yes in every case and we will endeavour to achieve the desired result. Where we are unable to serve personally, we are normally able to compile sufficient information to support an application for substituted service. On the second question, we normally work on time and mileage basis. This usually gives some idea of the extent of the final invoice.

Whether it be the tracing of missing beneficiaries or defaulters Black Crouchman & Co. have an excellent record. We have to admit that we are not always 100% successful; - there's always the one that got away but in the main we have located more apparently missing persons than have slipped the net.

The taking of statements is obviously an extremely important matter in deciding the evidential value of a particular witness; what they say could influence the way in which a case proceeds. We at Black Crouchman have a great deal of experience in taking statements and have on many occasions been utilised by solicitors and insurance companies in this regard.
