I rang this company when an old alarm in my home began to make a bleeping noise. The system needed a reset code. I rang hoping to get some help. only to be meet with, we don't keep the codes in the office! If you want to book an engineer it will cost you 160! Really! I asked them to remove the alarm and it comes with a charge! Do you self a favor and steer well clear and use another firm, If I was going to have an alarm fitted I would not use Brair security after the way I have been treated!

We had new security system installed by Briars, who had looked after our old system, from start to finish very efficient. The engineer who installed was great, worked to install with minimum of fuss and explained the system and App in detail to our staff. Highly Recommended and have now booked them to install a new CCTV too. Leonard Brooks Paints Harlow

I had my Briar Security burglar alarm upgraded on 16 Dec 2020 by Simon. I was so pleased with job, that I felt he needed some acclaim. He did a really super job. We were in lockdown and he just got on with everything without any disturbance to our routine. We really didn't know he was there. He put in a new control unit and a new keypad, changed three PIRs, and installed a new bell box. Best of all, despite all the drilling and fitting of new boxes and units, there was no filling or repair work, or cleaning up to be done!

Warning. Be careful with this firm. My mother who is 75 had an alarm installed a few years ago and had a contract with them. Due to financial issues she couldn't afford the maintenance contract and had to cancel. As they had tied her alarm into their iCloud which meant that the remote app wouldn't work. If she called them out to fix it it would have cost over 100.
What a crooked way to keep people paying their maintenance contract. If you do use them make sure that you set your own access to the Risco app. She has now had to pay for a new alarm panel so she can set it remotely. Crooks!

I have used this company for many years and have always found them very accommodating to my needs. Their Service Manager John and Senior Engineer Howard deserve special mention, for being exceptionally helpful. Whilst they may not be the cheapest, when you consider the longevity of support to systems they have installed, I have found them to be good value for money. I therefore thoroughly recommend Briar Security.

I cannot fault the service I received from the initial inquiry when i phoned to arrange a survey to the completed installation. The system is easy to use and the App is very intuitive. The guys that did the installation were polite, professional, knew all about the system and even had their own vacuum! to clear what little mess that there was.

Had a recent service conducted by 'George' from the Service Team. George performed an excellent check whilst being throughly pleasant and friendly - explaining his actions to our 2 year old and epitomising the phrase 'service with a smile'. This keeps up the standard that I have come to expect from the maintain and service team. I'm always surprised at the cost of batteries during a service. But that is nothing to do with the excellent front-line engineers.

From start to finish an excellent company to deal with. We received a fast quote following the site visit, when it came to the installation date I can not speak highly enough of the engineers Dan and Adam, nothing was too much trouble, they exceeded my expectations by a long way! Not forgetting the quality and functionality of the product! I would highly recommend Briar Security and I will be using again in the future! Thanks Guys!

This company and their staff are excellent in customer care and workmanship. The pride their engineers take into their work is truly unique and their superb cabling and installation is second to none. I used Briar Security to fit an alarm system to my 300 yr old thatched cottage. They were very knowledgeable and sympathetic to the restrictions of a listed building not to mention the asthetics.
