As a producer of industrial batteries under the Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009, we Challenger Security Products produce industrial sealed lead acid batteries. We are obliged to take back free of charge, waste industrial batteries supplied to an end user for treatment and recycling.

We had an issue with the tamper light being on, and not being able to set the alarm. The young lady answer the phone was very helpful, and asked what the call was regarding, before transferring me to the Technical Department. Now, this is where the service went up another level. The gentleman I spoke to was very helpful and patient. He couldn't resolve the issue, but his advice on how to resolve the issue was helpful and appreciated

We only asked for a simple request, in that the alarm we gained through a house purchase had no code, but Challenger couldn't be bothered to help with any aftercare. This was put to Challenger on a number of occasions. Probably best avoid and go with a company that does has some after-sales interest.
