The business was started in 1988 as ABQ Alarms in Middlesbrough by a retiring British Army Captain. In the early nineties the owner, being from Darlington originally, decided to move closer to home, so the business relocated to new premises Whessoe Road, Darlington. At the same time, the name "Darlington Alarm Centre" was introduced.
When you have a burglar alarm installed, it needs to be done properly, efficiently and cleanly. DAC have over 15 years experience of installing security alarms in all type of commercial and domestic property. Our installation service is also backed by a 1 year parts and labour guarantee. However, alarms need servicing on a regular basis to maintain maximum performance. So, after the first year we will offer you a service contract. This covers an annual service check and parts and labour costs for any repairs which may be needed. For only 40 per year (in Darlington, Teesside and Newton Aycliffe) you will have peace of mind that your alarm system is being looked after and will be repaired in the unlikely event that anything should go wrong.Please note Batteries are treated as a consumable item and are not covered in our service contracts.
