Moved into a home with an ACE alarm system installed so accepted their offer for us to take over the contract. The very first communication was very efficient and professional. But since then the service has been atroscious. Every engineer visit has taken 6-10 weeks to organise, and now after three engineer visits I'm still left with a not fully functional system with the problems only identified at the most recent visit.
To cap to off the customer services team have failed to respond to my complaint in the timeline which they have me. I couldn't in good faith recommend anyone to use ace fire and security.

We had our NEW Home Security System installed yesterday (to attempt to 'thwart' a sudden rise in 'local' burglaries), and I was VERY impressed with the quality of the equipment, and the 'excellent' job the Engineers did! My ONLY 'gripe' here is that when we ordered our system we was told by a 'Rep', or similar, that visited us at our house that it would be about three weeks before it was installed!
In the end it was about SIX weeks, and even then, they had to 'swap' jobs about so we had the above installed BEFORE Christmas! IF the above 'Rep' had been 'honest', and 'truthful', we just MAY have looked elsewhere! Why promise what you CAN'T deliver just to get a SALE?

The alarm has been installed for about 6 months when I received this request for feedback. My first experience was very good in that after arranging for a survey and a quote an engineer arrived a day or two after. He was very helpful in that he explained everything very fully so that I was able to understand the system. An email/letter arrived very quickly and I accepted the price.
That's when everything took a dive. Despite telephone calls and emails to the local office in Cambridge and promises of action nothing actually happened for about a month. In desperation I then rang the office in Bedford. Action at last. The alarm was fitted by a young engineer who had only recently joined the company. He was excellent. Even fitted the Box so that I did not need to redecorate the Hallway. Explained fully how to operate the alarm and was very friendly and helpful.
My wife and I are in our 80's so he was very patient as well. Wrote to the company and told them what a grand job thier engineer had done but complained about the earlier administration problems. No response from the company. Pity that they can't be bothered to acknowledge letters or listen to what their customers have to say. Alarm System is brilliant. Simple to use.

Homeowner in Oakley I would highly recommend this company. From the initial contact everything was handled in a prompt and professional manner. The person who surveyed our property prior to the installation of the alarm system was very knowledgeable and he fully understood our needs. The installation team turned up as arranged and the equipment was installed to a very high standard. The engineers also spent a considerable amount of time explaining how the alarm and CCTV system operated. Thanks everyone for a first class service.

Ace made buying an alarm really easy. A member of their team turned up at a time to suit me, explained my options and followed everything up in an e-mail. Engineer went through all the controls with me and I even received a M&S voucher as they came recommended by the in-laws, who received a voucher also.

I purchased a house last month with Ace system installed. the system keeps going off and I've called ace to ask for help as I know nothing about it and never purchased it myself, I've explained I have a month old baby and I just need it disabled or stopped. The engineer told me I have no maintenance contract and put the phone down on me, and the phone service where unable to help because the engineer told them to ignore me. That's Ace customer care and service. Now I have an Ace alarm going off and I have to wait till Monday to have it dealt with. So much for 24hour service! Disgusted!

Fantastic! So glad I found Ace to help secure our business premises. Local to Bedford, they installed an access control system and a CCTV set-up that really makes a difference to our offices in the area. We've continued to use them for ongoing maintenance, and the Ace team were even kind enough to train our staff to make the most out of the new installations and troubleshoot basic problems. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a security solution for their business.
