An absolutely delightful afternoon in the sun outside - delicious meals! The service was excellent - just the right amount of attention and polite, friendly interactions throughout. The grounds are superbly kept, tranquil and with plenty of space for kids to run around and have fun whilst waiting for the food. A hidden gem on the doorstep of the historic city of Canterbury - highly recommended!

I absolutely loved it here! The people working there were so nice and sweet, one of the people that worked there even showed me a video of his daughter that made a really long goal at a football match which was really cool. The service is really good and it was fun to chill in the hotel room and zap on the English television. The dinner was nice and the breakfast was delicious; They serve cinnamon buns, a traditional English breakfast, drinks and more!

If you're traveling with multiple people and there's not enough beds in your room, they can bring comfy stretchers, so everyone has their own bed. It's overall a really nice place and I'd love to go there again.

A lovely wedding venue with beautiful grounds. It's conveniently located just off the A28 and easy to find, with plenty of parking on site. The marquee is a great place for a wedding reception, with an outside bar and BBQ area next to the marquee. The staff were very friendly.

We got married at Howfield Manor on Friday and we had such a magical and perfect day at this beautiful venue, thank you to Muriel the wedding coordinator and all of the staff. The food was lovely all our guests were complimenting the food. We were all looked after. The bridal suite was perfect for getting ready and was clean and had everything we needed. We will recommend this venue to everyone!

Well intentioned staff, probably. But more inept than well-intentioned. Dire food. Thank God the portions are undersized. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but it would be misleading to do otherwise. Sorry guys (and girls), but when I book a table for a handicapped person, I don't appreciate being hustled into eating badly prepared, oily undercooked cr@p when I have to see the receptionist stuffing their face when on duty at the reception desk counter long after "the kitchen has closed". You guys deserve to fail. Shape up. Whoever owns this place needs to get a grip. As for being a wedding "suitable" venue. Only if you think a trailer park is a stately home.

It was a lovely location. I went for a Valentine's meal and stayed overnight rooms were clean and well maintained. Food was amazing, and all the little extra attention to details made it special The staff were friendly Highly recommend

We had a great stay the room was spotless aswell as the rest of the hotel. are evening meal was cooked to perfection and like wise the breakfast there was a large choice of different types of food. We found all of the staff very smartly dressed and polite. We will be staying there again.

Stayed here on the 22nd Jan for one night.the room we had was lovely with a 4 poster bed. the full English breakfast was great and they also had a nice selection cakes and pastries. would stay again as its not to far from town.

Booked this Hotel in November as we had an evening out in Canterbury. However when we arrived in the dark hotel had no power, so no heating or lights. No back up lights, so had to leave and Get ready elsewhere. After our night out the power had returned but no heating. The room was very cold. A very disappointing stay. We asked to see the manager but he was on holiday.

So we emailed in, have had no actual answer to our email. So have unfortunately had to leave a poor review. We have lots more events in Canterbury this year but will not be staying at this hotel.

Absolutely faultless venue for my 70th birthday party all at a very good price. Lovely staff who helped and provided the perfect day. Particular mention goes to Kevin and Muriel for all their help. Superb food with all requirements fulfilled. I cannot recommend this establishment highly enough!
