Our Lock fitting service - Abbey Locksmiths can supply and fit any make or brand of lock, we have extensive knowledge of all the latest security products and can advise on which lock will best suit your property. All external doors or final exit doors should have at least one insurance compliant lock fitted, which will be an insurance approved BS 3621 lock or equivalent in most cases. This makes up about 70% of our lock fitting work now, since all insurance companies are insisting that compliant locks are installed.
Replacing or changing a lock - There are plenty of reasons that you may need to change a lock, whether your keys have been lost or stolen, you are moving home or office, change of tenancy or you need to upgrade your locks for security reasons or for a new contents insurance policy. Lock changes need not be expensive, it is important to remember when considering replacing a lock, that it does not always mean the complete lock needs to be changed, as a replacement cylinder or a change of levers is often all that is required.

Great service. Had a front door lock that was really stiff and sometimes not lockable. Had a visit within an hour. Really helpful. No dramas. No selling us parts we didn't need. Just took the lock apart and cleaned it, then just for good measure fixed our back door lock too. Transparent pricing and good value. Thank you

It's great to meet a responsive, genuine company that does what it says it will. Mark was with me in 30 minutes, helped me access my premises when I locked myself out and caused no damage in the process. He saved my day. Highly recommend and very affordable. Will use in future (although I hopefully won't lock myself out again anytime soon)

I witnessed this guy yesterday attending a lock out and he did not know I was watching. The situation presented itself as a perfect opportunity for a rouge trader to turn a lockout into a very expensive job but not this guy he opened that door quickly and professionally causing no damage and was very polite. I worked in this industry for many years and can tell you there are plenty of sharks swimming around waiting to snatch your money. Well done Sir. Oh yes that EPG sounded sweet.

I would highly recommend Mark as he provided an excellent, reliable and honest service. He got the parts and changed the lock very quickly. We'd had the unfortunate experience of using some other locksmiths before Mark who had claimed changing the lock on a window was 'a big job' that would require quadrupling the price they had quoted us once they came out. Mark was upfront and managed to do this 'big job' in no more than 5 mins at the price he originally quoted.
