Had Richard Irvine in to do a boiler service today. They guy managed to rip the top of our Cooker and rip the front of the boiler of the boiler case, breaking the clips and the company had the Audacity to blame us for breaking the cooker. It was completely fine before the engineer touched it. We have 3 kids, no cooker for feeding our family during a pandemic.
The manager called me and actually blamed us, saying his engineer would not lie, well sorry he did unfortunately. The service the year before the guy glued parts on apparently that should never be done on a gas boiler, this is very unsave, oddly enough the cooker was perfect back then. Avoid this company like the plague. Thanks for leaving us without a cooker and btw ask your engineers to wear masks visiting peoples homes! theres a deadly virus out there and not one protocol or precaution was took during that shocking gas boiler service visit. I suggest you hire competent engineers and a more understanding manager.

What a load of rot. Their mission statement is rubbish. They do not look after their employees, in fact quite the opposite. They currently hold the Amy contract and have steam rolled their way into their Employees that have been tuped over to them from Carillion Amy. The employees were given a contract that basically cut all their rights that previous companies have always honoured.
They refuse to negotiate in any way and after 18 years service to the ministry of defence, my husband and others that he has worked with for years have found themselves without a Job. The unions are involved and something really stinks. How can anyone be expected to sign a contract that they havant seen. But they were expected to sign a piece of paper to say they were prepared to sign a contract. Many refused and now they have been issued notice! Union is working hard on this and are taking legal action against them.

3 separate afternoons wasted waiting in on an engineer! 1st time I had missed the engineer by a few minutes but didn't know he had been as he didn't put a card through the door, so waited in the rest of the 4 hour time slot for him. 2nd time the enigineer was off sick and apparently there was no one else available. They had tried to phone me once that morning (I was at work) from a number I didn't recognise and didn't bother leaving a voicemail to say they weren't coming so I got home and waited again for the whole four hours of the 12-4 time slot. 3rd week in a row I was told they would be here at 4.30pm so I didn't have to take time off work and it was marked as an emergency appointment. 4.30 came and went and not even a phone call! Wouldn't recommend them at all! Save your time and money and go else where.
