Critical: Professionalism Charged a fortune, didn't carry out the work we asked for, just wasted time at our home and charged 4 times what we had expected without completing anything. Felt completely ripped off.

Had a visit for what I'd consider a fairly basic electrical work. I thought he was coming to do the job, not talk to me for 2 hrs about how much work my existing wiring needed and how much i had done wrong in my kitchen renovation project. After my limit of tolerance was reached I asked him to leave and didn't invite the 2 men back that apparently were required to fix this tremendously complicated job.

After he left i actually sorted the job myself in a matter of minutes, which happened to be down to a loose connection. Very poor communication and I got a strong feeling of profiteering.

I live locally, and have been dealing with the company for a few years, so I normally just pop into the shop, or phone and talk to Angie with any jobs, so I never saw any online presence from Cumming Fire & Security, until I stumbled upon this list of bile & BS. Firstly, all these references to 'Jack' the owner being mean & nasty, I hate to break it to these trolls, or more likely fake accounts, While Jack Cumming is the named owner (easily found online etc.) the majority of the companies existence, he has worked in the Oil industry, splitting his time between offshore, and his parent companies offices in Aberdeen.

So whoever this 'nasty' man these offended (totally real, not made up ) 'Customers' are talking to, is a mystery, Unless Angie, has suddenly developed a 40 a day Cigar habit! As for work, while the engineers may look like a motley crew, of big hairy & small baby faced etc. The quality of the work is high, I've used them for jobs ranging from Ceiling fan light fitting, to wiring my extension. Cost, seems competitive compared to other local electricians, and they were willing to start early & stay late to get done quick, to let the joiners in. So absolutely no complaints. 5* Well, I'm away to check under the bed for 'Jack the Boogeyman', or I just won't sleep tonight. William Keith, Kemnay

Never met such a rude and nasty person in my life, Jack, my advice is sell up and allow someone who knows what they are doing and knows how to speak to customers properly. Your attitude and manner is shocking and I would not recommend anyone go to this idiot for any work.

Tried to double invoice for the same work that had been agreed to. Explained and showed that the 1st invoice had been paid. We offered to settle this in the small claims court. We were then threatened with debt collectors who pursued us. Showed them proof of payment. Nothing more heard. Rude, abrupt, threatening with disingenuous staff. Avoid.

It was the worst experience. Jack the owner is a joke, lacks customer service and has terrible people skills. Also unnecessary expensive and has hidden costs. Please avoid if you dont want to be insulted and overcharged. He was very rude and insulted me and hung up on me because i asked him to explain the charges on the invoice.
