P&R Alarms have been trading since 1983 and have installed in all kinds of commercial properties, from small offices and shops to large industrial and commercial sites. We can design and install any type of security system to suit your business security requirements.
We never specify closed protocol equipment, we do not believe that you should be tied to any one company, often systems are offered to be installed relatively cheaply but the prove to be closed protocol type and you can only use the installing company to provide on-going support and repairs, often at great cost vs.
We do not believe in package systems as more often than not these are inadequate and can provide a false sense of security with limited detection, unlike intruder alarm systems. Our services range from audible only systems, where the sirens inform your neighbours of any detection, to fully monitored alarms with Police response (subject to compliance with the Association of Chief Police Officer Intruder Alarms Policy). We can also offer add-ons to your intruder alarm system, including: carbon monoxide detection, flood detectors and heat and smoke detectors.

A few years back I had a sophisticated alarm and camera system fitted at my residential property. This system was fitted by a company who allege that they are experts in their field. Complete and utter rubbish as from that day to yesterday as I've had nothing but problems such as false activation's, system equipment packing up and if you name it I've experienced it.
You can probably understand why my neighbours aren't overly happy with me. I had three options, the first being to jump of a cliff and end it all, the second not to use the system and the third to bite the bullet and get a professional firm in to put in right. This time I did loads and loads of research and decided upon a company whom I have no relationship with and to be honest a company I'd never heard of.
They turned up yesterday on time (the other company never did) and from the moment the engineer opened his mouth I knew I was on to a winner. The engineers, both of them, were polite, tidy and clearly experts in their field. They did the job quickly and professionally and I now have a system that I have a 100% confidence in. For the first time in 7 months when I went to bed last night I activated my nighttime setting with every confidence that it wasn't going to false activate and it didn't!
If they ever need a show house to demonstrate their system and the quality of their work then as long as they give me enough notice so that I can run the Hoover round, this is the house. Great job done and apart from service dates I don't expect to see you again. Thank you

We ordered an alarm from P and R alarms four years ago. We had it regularly serviced, although we missed the service last year. I rang because the alarm is malfunctioning asking for help and the service man told me there was no record of me beyond address and I was 'dead on the system'. He also told me he was loathe to say it but I should just find another company and they were fully booked.
Finding someone for the system Pand R installed is complex All my paper work and connections are through P and R. It seems to me a company that takes so little responsibility for the longer term care of its clients and that is unwilling and unhelpful around systems it has set up, deserves some criticism.
