I used Electric City to replace storage heaters with electric radiators, re-organise the fuse box, and fit a timer to the hot water heater, and have been very pleased with every step. Initial responses to my enquiry were engaged; when looking over the work to be done, John Lane was open, candid and friendly, giving useful, money-saving advice about what was the best course of action for me; I was able to pick the day on which the work would be done; Darren and Will doing the work were polite, cheerful and tidy, and were done more quickly than I expected; the invoice arrived promptly.

I've no previous experience of directly hiring electricians, but the price seemed fair to me. I chose Electric City on the strength of their flawless Google reviews, but even then I didn't dare to hope for such a smooth experience.

These chaps have been great, they've fixed all the issues and certified everything. More than exceeded my expectations. Thanks

Needed a oven fitting on the same day as I called them and not only did they manage to fit me in, they finished the job quickly and to a high standard. The work included adding a junction box closer to the oven as well as wiring up the oven itself. Good price on the work, friendly electrician, highly recommended.
