Nedap was founded in 1929, originally abbreviated as Nafa. We changed to our current name, Nedap, in 1933 (port-manteau for Nederlandsche Apparatenfabriek). For more than 90 years already, we have served people with technology, contributing to their professional lives. From the forties, Nedap starts developing, producing and selling its own devices for various applications under the Nedap brand.
The Nedap Story is about Technology for Life. With our technology we want to make people happier and more successful in their professional lives. With a long-term perspective, we aim for creating true value in the markets that we are active in: value for people and the environment alongside financial value.
We are structured into seven business units. To solve specific problems, we work closely with professionals in the markets in which we operate. It brings out the best of all knowledge, and inspires us to not only solve yesterday's problem, but to be ahead of challenges in the future. Nedap Healthcare develops technology that helps people to be the best they can be.
