Michael Johnson started the business in 1989 and with his team, advises personal and business clients on how best to protect what's important to them. Your safe should be secured in accordance to the manufacturers' recommendations. In the main, manufacturers tend to ask for their safes to be secured to a concrete base or, where that is not possible because of the construction of your home, then your safe should be secured to an external brick/solid wall.

A brilliant company with fantastic customer service. From initial contact to installation every member of staff was pleasant, professional and made me feel as if I was a valued customer. Chloe is superb and went out of her way to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. Installation team was friendly, super efficient and left everything clean and tidy. They also took time to go through the setup and operation of the safe with me. I cannot recommend Lichfield Safe Centre highly enough - wish I could give more than 5 stars!

When I purchased a 'Burton DK series' wallsafe for over 200, allegedly reduced from 474, I had hoped that the cost would be reflected in the build. So I was surprised when I received a 'Technomax Technofort DK/3B' with a Burton sticker on it. This is a relatively flimsy safe that retails for around a hundred euros on many European websites, and has many similar models on ebay & amazon for far less.
The MD of Burton confirmed this is the same item. I shall leave it to the reader to decide the purpose of this 're-brand'. The lady on support at Litchfield said that the suppliers insist on a minimum price for all the web stores to use, which sounded remarkably like price fixing to me, however I am not lawyer. Anyway, I was told I wanted to return it, I'd need to give them a 're-stocking fee' of 65, and if it showed any damage I would not be refunded.
As it arrived with a little damage anyway (just a slightly bent back bit and some scuffs) I decided against risking them having me over for a second time. Don't assume that spending a few quid on a 'specialist' website gets you a better built product. If my experience is anything to go by, you get a cheap safe with an expensive sticker. Better off googling the Technomax safe range - you should be able to find the exact same thing at a huge discount, or a far better grade safe for the same money.

Just collected my safe from Lichfield safe centre. Excellent service from my initial inquiry. Dealt with Chloe who could not of been any more helpful. Chloe emailed me within 5 minutes of my first phone call and listed approx 6 different safes for me to choose from, Chloe really knows how to look after a customer. I arranged to collect in the morning all waiting for me no delays and everyone extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Lichfield safes.

What fabulous service, a great range of product, Chloe and all the staff were helpful and really understood the product. Delivery was arranged within a few days of ordering and two qualified gentlemen came and installed the safe with no fuss and no mess. Honestly I really recommend Litchfield Safe, a pleasure to buy from.

Really excellent personalised service - even suggested some options which were cheaper than what I initially had in mind. Delivered and when came with the incomprehensible manufacturers instructions they filmed me a couple of whats-app videos simply demonstrating a few things that I needed to set up - would recommend
