Had a key needing cut and transponder chip linking to car. Must have phoned about 6 car key specialists in the North West and further afield, also poked my head in vehicle specialists for my vehicle and nobody seemed to know of a place that still held the key part for my vehicle, or would be happy to pair with the transponder as it's a particularly difficult job.
Found Keyfax, phoned, got a very reasonable quote not taking into account these additional difficulties and although the mechanics looked very upset at the job I'd walked in with, they got right to it and delivered on price, despite the difficulty they had with the job. Would definitely recommend! Used the key daily now for probably nearly a year and it works exactly like the original and had no problems with the remote or any stickiness in the locks. I look this lock in at 1pm on Thursday afternoon and asked to a key to be made for it. I was told no problem we will sort it out. I've now ran out patience, it's now 12.40pm on Saturday, I've collected lock and they've not done what I required. They also said they phone Me on Thursday and Friday afternoon to no avail. It was myself who had to phone them to get updates and it seems they were uninterested in solving the problem for Me.
I was recommended this company by a Tipsons guy at Sainsburys Denton. I wish He hadn't have bothered as I shall never use them again. No apologies, no updates and no communication although i had high hopes this company would sort it out. Obviously I wasn't important to them and as I'm on a deadline to repair said motorbike they've let Me down!
