Evolution is a fire and security business based in the UK and Ireland with international reach. From three offices in the UK, two in Ireland and one in The Netherlands we support an increasingly diverse and demanding customer base. We are also able to provide comprehensive worldwide services through carefully chosen technology partners, all of whom are upskilled and trained to a UK benchmark.
Richard began his career in the electronic security industry in 1982 rising to Director-level prior to co-founding Evolution in 1996. When Richard is not thinking about work his passion is classic cars. Richard has spent several years 'Historic Racing' in a 1973 Lancia Fulvia and he has also built a hot-rod over 11 years.
Both had over 15 years' experience in the electronic security industry and having worked together since 1990 had long held the ambition to set up on their own, but wanted sufficient finances to buy themselves the time to develop a business which would have the capability to provide security systems to multi-site, national and international clients.
Our Risk and Design team provides 'traditional' consultancy services from risk assessment, compliance with associated supporting policies and procedures, and design through to commissioning, as well as providing all necessary documentation to support the tender process. Working both with our own team as well as third-parties, we also make maximum use of the latest 3D Building Information Modelling (BIM) techniques used in modern construction projects.Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (GRC) has evolved over recent years as organisations strive to achieve objectives, address uncertainty and act with integrity against a wide array of new and emerging risks.
