Established in 1991, we are a friendly, family run auto locksmith company specialising in Car Keys, Van Keys, Truck Keys & Motorcycle Keys. From our workshop in Sutton Coldfield, we have been helping the people of Birmingham & the West Midlands for over 30 years! Our vans first hit the roads in 1991 to offer the first roadside auto locksmith service in Birmingham.
When an immobiliser fault is detected on a Ford PATS system, the red LED in the center of the dashboard will flash repeatedly. After approximately 1 minute the light will stop flashing and pulse a morse code style code. This light, depending on the issue the vehicle is having, will allow you to find out what may be causing the problem with the vehicle.
With lockpicks readily available to buy on the internet and thieves finding new ways to gain access to vehicles, Replocks are a new and innovative way to protect your van and it's contents - by replacing the existing key and lock with a high security one. Replocks are replacement door locks that provide added security for your van.

Very happy with the service here. My car key/ignition fobs had failing batteries (one didn't register any charge at all!) Quickly popped into Duplicut as I'd used them before. Before changing the batteries they checked them to make sure the battery was the issue. They were able to replace them and test them whilst I was there. Very quick service and reasonable price too.

Excellent service. Called pretty last minute to have my spare key reprogrammed to prevent a secondary theft on my golf GTD. They managed to fit me in with a couple of hours notice and reprogrammed my key. I was told by other locksmiths this was not possible and to buy a replacement key from VW. Thanks Duplicut and the young guy who sorted this for me.

I am very grateful to Adam and his team, having been told by two other companies they couldn't fix the problem with my key, I was getting ready to scrap my car. Then these guys very promptly say they can make me a new key with a new chip and link it with my car. What I was imagining to be a really expensive fix, was relatively cheap. I am so grateful for their professionalism and knowledge of keys. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them again.

Very very impressed with the professionalism and ability of the team at Duplicut. Could not recommend enough! Fantastic service at a good price. I travelled a 3h round trip to go to these chaps, and they didn't disappoint. I was so impressed I got 2 keys done. I'd tried soooo many places prior to these guys to get some new car keys and they all couldn't do it. Not even the dealership! But Duplicut could. I had lost the key to my Ford Ka after locking it - as is probably often the case, I had been meaning to get a spare key cut for years! I called Duplicut late in the day and Steve made me the first call of the following day, which was much appreciated as I had to go out at 11 am. He arrived spot on time and I was amazed at how quickly band professionally he got the job done.
He was also very friendly and was happy to explain everything to me, which I found very interesting. I strongly recommend Duplicut to everyone who needs a vehicle locksmith service - I was very pleased to find that they do motorcycle keys too!
