Pro-Guard Security is a burglar alarm installation company with years of experience in protecting homes with our home alarm systems. This is activated by the intruder and through your landline. We use Pro Guard Security for the out of hours response at our sites. Attendance has always been within the time frame agreed, a thorough inspection is always done of the site prior to the security personnel leaving and a detailed report is always sent to us immediately next day. Would recommend them highly.

Without Predjudice I used to work for this company and I have to say that it is the most disgusting security firm I have ever had the displeasure of suffering. The office staff have very little regard for the security officers well being and would have them on site 24 hours a day, 365 days a week for peanuts if they could get away with it. I remember once, covering a site well out of my traveling means as a favour, being dropped by the management and told they would pic me up later on the night, They left me stranded that night, I called the office and spoke to them 4 times.
They kept saying he will be on his way soon. The site I covered (a school) closed and the care taker had to lock me out at 9:30 pm, I was lost, took me 6 hours to find and walk my way home. The next day I went mad over the phone. They had me in a meeting and made A LOT of promises to try and worm their way out of it, none of them they kept. Just wanted to keep me quite and forget about it.
I needed the money at the time but I regret not reporting them even today. But hearing them talk about the guards to each other over the phones on speaker, really took the cake. Planning double shifts, to go from one site to the other and trying to force us into 18 hour days without asking us first! Was not on. I don't know if its changed much because i've worked for several other security companies in the last 8 or so years, but I have heard a few stories recenty that gave me teeth grinding flash backs. Hence my little visit.
But if they are anything like they were then (I mean the outside hasn't changed much). but. to be a customer of this company, you must either have very little regard for your staff, or property. And to be employed by this company: you must be either, stupid, desperate or blinkered.
