Got burnt by this company. And it seems a model by these type of companies, who just keep charging for call outs but never fix the fault. And their customer service is appalling.

Absolutely useless. We had arranged 2 months ago for this company to undertake their routine checks tomorrow. Everyone in the building has made plans to work from home to facilitate access and they cancel last minute. They also have the nerve to threaten to issue fines for not facilitating access when they turn up unannounced. They don't seem to realise that we all have jobs and lives and that their visits require planning - something they don't seem to be capable of. Awful company. Wouldn't recommend.

I've had no problem with the people who come and do the work but the woman who handles property appointments is extremely rude and disrespectful. No flexibility or sense of customer service and I would be worried for anyone vulnerable having to arrange anything with this service.

The team at Brighton Fire Alarms did an excellent job of stepping in at short notice to repair my front fire door. They did the job the same day after an ambulance crew got addresses mixed up and unfortunately broke into the wrong flat early in the morning. Many thanks to Simon, Sarah, Jack and team for going the extra mile to help out.

Our block of flats had a fire inspection. The man that came by was very friendly and courteous. Remembering from a previous insoectionl we have a young child who doesn't like loud noises, he came to our flat first so that we could take our child out to avoid the noise from the other tests in the building. These little things make a big difference.

I have experience of numerous fire alarm contractors over the last 15 years, but in Sussex, there are none better than BFA. I have worked with them across 100's of properties for install's, maintenance contracts, day to day maintenance issues, testing schedules etc. They have always been professional, responsive, competitive and reliable and i am pleased to honestly commend Karl on running a very well respected firm.

I would not use anyone else in Sussex to keep properties protected from the risk of fire, and am grateful to work with such a competent fire prevention contractor. Great job Karl!

Absolutely atrocious customer service from the woman who answers the listed number, then just as bad if even more condescending from the office manager. Trying to arrange for a key collection from an estate agent around the corner in kemptown was like getting blood out of a stone. Luckily the estate agent was more helpful and said it was only 2 minutes walk so he could drop the keys off. The engineers themselves do a great job. Overpriced, underachieving and obnoxious pen pushers in the office don't.

Really nice people. Arrived a few minutes early to change our heat sensor, explained all the fire detection equipment in the flat and got the job done in 10 mins. Highly recommended.

Awesome. Does what it says on the tin, BFA got everything done and then some. I would thoroughly recommend this company and I have no renumeration for this review, this is simply a way of thanks. Very professional and clearly uniformed. I can recommend them without hesitation.

They don't seem to value some customers and offer very little in the way of flexibility for appointments. They can ask you to wait in for up to 4 hours for some appointments unless you pay a fee. Call staff were rude and unprofessional when asking for their help.
