When you can't get your key to turn in the front door on a cold night and one locksmith has already tried and failed to get you inside, there's only one person to call. Steve had the door open in practically no time, checked everything was working correctly, and cut us new keys. I just wish we'd known to get in touch with him sooner. Not all heroes wear capes!

We used Steve to change the locks on our last two house moves, he is professional, thorough, responds quickly and arrives on-time. He took care to get the right colour products that would match our existing door furniture (which were not standard) and when asked, he gave us great recommendations for some additional locks to increase our security. Overall, he did a great job for us (twice!) and we highly recommend.

My 87 year old mother had a problem with a door lock not releasing. I contacted Steve on her behalf based on locality and good customer reviews. Prompt attendance to the property to release and strip down an old patio door that had not opened for +15 years followed. Due to the age of the door an alternative mechanism had to be sourced, which was fitted to following day. Mum was very pleased with the service provided and general manner in which the work was conducted. Steve even went the extra mile by sending me a video of the new lock being secured / released when the job was finished as the process was slightly different to the original mechanism. The cost was a pleasant surprise and IMHO represented good value for money. Great service from a values orientated tradesman.

We recently used SJ locks for an issue we had having moved into our new house, a window was slightly open, but locked and we had no key! Steve resolved this for us promptly at a reasonable price.
