We offer an 24hr Emergency Locksmith Service. If you live in Stockport, South Manchester or Cheshire, we can usually be with you within 45 minutes. When you call us, you will speak directly to our local, fully qualified locksmith in Wilmslow, never a call centre operator!. Our skilled staff will select the correct blanks and hand check that the key correctly fits the lock.
It really isn't worth saving a few quid when it could lead to needing a much more expensive lock change in the long term. We hand-finish every mortice key by checking the key works with the lock manually, thereby minimising wear. Properly trained staff select the correct key blank, only using 'universal' key blanks when necessary.

Lock snapping is an increasingly common method of attack used by burglars to gain entry to your property in Stockport and surounding areas. The method involves snapping the cylinder at a weak point, which allows the attacker to manipulate the lock open quietly within a few seconds. Lock snapping exploits a vulnerability inherent in the design of Euro Profile Cylinders, which are used on almost all uPVC doors.
Turns out the other company were charging for items that were not broke and asking for a fortune to carry out the work. Cusworth charged just 70. They are an honest, friendly and reliable company that I would not hesitate to recommend.''. He told me in advance how much the work would cost and even suggested that I contact a more local locksmith as this would be cheaper (giving me the contact details). When I was unable to get anyone local, Mr Cusworth came out immediately. He was professional, skilled and very courteous and helpful.

A friend recommended to me and, once contacted, he responded quickly, talked me through the options and then travelled outside his usual area to fit the security locks within two days of the call. Literally the best tradesman we've ever used. Had him out over a year ago to fix our PVC windows which weren't closing properly. We'd had a few companies out who had looked at it and said it wasn't something they could do. He fixed it for us no problem, and at such a good price. So when the back door went, I gave him a call. He got here within 30mins and had the door fixed within another 30.

Following a break in and a poor response from our Insurers preferred provider I contacted Danny who attended our property in Heald Green. The service provided was fast and efficient, the upgraded security explained which helped restore confidence at a difficult time. Danny also reviewed the remaining security at the property to ensure we were in the best position possible.

After I noticed suspicious damage on my rear doors, I rung Danny and he came out same day and talked me through some options, he knows his stuff and spent a large amount of time explaining what had been attempted and the best ways to improve security. installed high security barrels while upgraded handles were ordered - which installed the following week. all done professionally and quickly - would recommend!

I was recommended Cusworth Locksmith by my neighbour, who had used them to change his locks. After I called Danny Cusworth came out that same afternoon. He changed my lock on the front door with a new key straightaway. It is much more secure than the old lock we had and much easier to use with the key. He was very efficient and I'd definitely recommend them.

What an amazing service this gentleman provides. He takes his work very seriously also genuine and considerate. My Mum had a door handle that was becoming increasingly difficult to open and eventually it became completely stuck so I couldn't open the door. I rang to see if he could come round and fix it. He arrived within a couple of hours and explained how the mechanism inside can have small parts in it that over time fall apart and get stuck causing this problem.
He replaced the mechanism and made sure the door handle was working smoothly which it was. My Mum would just like to give you a big thankyou for coming and getting it sorted she's very happy with the service.

Great service. Very professional and friendly. Danny made some good practice recommendations which we followed. He made a second visit at no extra charge to exchange a lock in a double door because he had been sent one which didn't have a matching key to the other door. We would have been happy to have kept the other lock but he insisted that it wasn't what he had said he would fit and so he ordered another lock at his own expense to match. No hesitation in recommending him.

When we first moved into our house, he came by and gave us the most stress free service we've had since. When we asked about extra keys, he cut them for us and dropped them off! We've asked him about cutting some new keys since, and his prices are so good I can't believe it! He's been incredibly helpful too. If you want a properly personal service, definitely get in touch.

Danny provided excellent service, he managed to fit us in on the day we rang him as our request was urgent even though he was tight on time. He was very professional and friendly explaining what was wrong with the door and what he would do to try to fix it. We were also impressed that he said we could contact him if there were any issues with the new mechanism bedding in even if it was months down the line.
