Sales rep arrived 2 hours late for a home visit then took 2.5 months to send a quote, which belonged to someone else. Second sales rep came and gave an eye watering quote close to 2k just to update the system. Alarms go off without notification and then they send round an engineer who charges 200 inc vat to twidle a few wires everytime. DO NOT CHOOSE SECOM! Update: After 5 months a senior member of the team was in contact and helped reconfigure the system, this time offering a different solution but saved an immense amount of time. Secom must stop sending round inexperienced sub contracted sales people who just seem to want to get away from their desk and have a jolly - and then not follow up with customers. Overall we were finally happy with the solution finally offered by secom but it is yet to be fitted.

We have been using Secom since 2016. Recently alarm went off on its own for the second time in a year. We got notification that alarm went off. We then contacted them. They came and reset the alarm and we were told that is not clear why the alarm went off. But it could be a loose screws or something. We then later on got charged 120 for this visit. same issue happened few month back.
When we protest we were told that equipment is ours and therefore we have to pay. I talked to few people there however, they just repeat the same thing and threaten us to take their solicitors to get back to us. We will take this to trading standards.
