Only a few standard items are produced because most customers prefer an individual or corporate look to match existing or period finishes. Our fully equipped joinery shop in Bristol produces timber, glass, steel and stainless steel fabrications to just about any shape or size. With the increase in physical threat and violence, Avon Armour products have proved their worth.
We have produced security screens, counters and doors for police forces, health services and local government offices. Embassies, both at home and abroad have been fitted with ballistic windows and doors.

Services
We look after a number of public and private sector clients in the greater Bristol area and also carry out work on behalf of national Facilities Management (FM) companies. We cover an area of about 50 miles around our base at Junction 18 of the M5, so can easily attend to faults in Bristol, Cardiff, Gloucester, Bath, Swindon and Taunton.
Maintaining social distancing in shops and other premises, which are open to the public, can be impossible unless the number of customers in-store can be controlled. Avon Armour fit a sophisticated and reliable 'people counting' or 'density control' system which lets staff know how many customers are inside the premises.
Avon Armour Ltd is registered to provide Fire Door Inspection Services, Fire Door Installation and Fire Door Maintenance. Fire door inspections have to be completed by an inspector certified to the Fire Door Inspection Scheme (FDIS), Regulatory Reform Order (Fire Safety) 2005. Our inspectors have all been certified by the independent testing organisation BM Trada. This report may be used by the designated Responsible Person as part of regulatory requirements in a fire risk assessment of the building.
Since 1987 Avon Armour has been installing access control systems in greater Bristol, South Wales and the South West. Access systems range from simple digital keypads, all the way to fully 'on-line' computer controlled systems that operate dozens of doors. Access technologies available include 'Mifare' smart card, proximity and biometrics.
