Pro-Tect UK was established in 2003 by the Managing Director, John Lee Jeffrey, to meet the ever increasing demand for a security company that could deliver a cross sector approach at a highly professional level. Prior to the formation of Pro-Tect UK, John developed his experience working as a Regional Manager for a leading national security company supplying door supervisors, static & retail security & close protection personnel in a National & international scale.At this time we are currently one of the leading security providers within the North England & South Scotland areas.
Pro-Tect UK specialise in the delivery of Door Supervision, Asset Protection & Manned Guarding services, Retail Security, Event security, Close Protection & Residential Security. Our specialisms extend to the provision of specialist Surveillance and pioneering innovative Local Authority Support Services particularly in the areas of Street Scene Enforcement, Enforcement training and dealing with various forms of Anti social behaviour. From first contact Pro-Tect UK will allocate a Area Business Manager whose responsibility will be to know and understand.

John Lee started working in the security industry in 1998, and quickly moved upthe ranks, into staff management by 2001. he learned and gained experience with a National company as a Regional Manager until 2003, when he formed his own company. Initially this was known as Border City Security, but was quickly changed and established as a ltd company, and so began the birth of Pro-Tect UK.

Excellent company to work for (seems like a rarity in the security industry) plenty of hours to go at and opportunities available in all aspects of security, management are very responsive when Iv needed to contact them and staff welfare is good. They're shift manager seems flexible and has been able to work with me when it comes to commitments outside of work.
Pay is what's expected for security within the area which is primarily Cumbria and SW Scotland but they do have sites further afield. Whilst working for them iv been offered several training courses like emergency first aid at work, first aid for mental health, CCTV and counter terror, which all goes well on the old CV. Overall I'm exceptionally happy working for them.

Worked for the company for over 3 years and would highly recommend, great thing is with the company my training was enhanced from a a sg to Cp, pit training was given, and when I fell on hard times the owner ensured my family was looked after, can't wait for the next 3 years to see what more brings, well done protect and all the team
