Employing around 100 people, we specialise in telecommunications, building services and systems infrastructure. We predominantly operate in the UK rail industry but also serve other transport sectors such as airports and roads. We provide design and other professional services through a consulting engineering division and turnkey projects through a construction division.
We are pleased to announce we have completed 1.5 million hours of work without reporting a RIDDOR accident or occurrence. Fourway partnered with Amey to develop a comprehensive picture of existing asset information to support the Capacity Enhancement Programme.

Services
Our team has 25 years' experience in station and railway engineering. We deliver change into complex construction environments and asset renewal programmes the length and breadth of Britain. Our range of consulting engineering and construction services enable us to add value at different stages of the project cycle whether it be project development, feasibility, design or final delivery.
We are passionate about the UK rail industry, its heritage and future as a world class service to the public. We believe it is a vital driver for greener, sustainable enconomic growth. Our mission is to create an engineering company committed to providing the greatest value to this industry. We believe our biggest opportunity to achieve this vision is by teaming up to combine skillsets and truly share problems and goals. We believe our core values of passion, integrity and excellence will enable us to do this.
Fourway was started by four soldiers who de-mobilised together after the second world war. Initially manufacturing machinery for the emerging radio industry of North London it became incorporated under the name Fourway Jig & Tools Ltd In 1962. In 1978, two of the original founders sold the business to Leon Snell a manufacturing consultant.
We work with building contractors, M&E contractors, multi-discipline consultancies and a range of 'end-clients' like Network Rail, London Underground and other rail operators. Whilst separating our clients into these groups helps us to shape our approach, we believe every client is unique and has specific reasons for considering Fourway.
