Ray's biography remains on this website as testimony to the years of passionate dedication he gave to Security 2000 Ltd. Ray spent many years within the building trade, followed by 12 years running various companies. In the early 90's Ray decided to change direction and, following many reports of substantial crimes being committed in the Avonmouth area, he decided to branch out in to the security business in an attempt to stop this.
Security 2000 Ltd are approved by the SIA for the provision of security guarding and keyholding services. The SIA is the organisation responsible for regulating the private security industry. They are an independent body reporting to the Home Secretary. Their mission is to regulate the private security industry effectively; to reduce criminality, raise standards and recognise quality service. The SIA has two main duties. One is the compulsory licensing of individuals undertaking designated activities within the private security industry.
Our mobile security patrols in Bristol, Avonmouth, Clevedon, Weston Super Mare, Melksham, Chippenham and across the South West are all conducted in liveried vehicles, GPS tracked, fully equipped with communications and driven by our fully trained SIA licensed guards. Our guards all wear Security 2000 Ltd branded and highly recognisable uniforms, and prove to be a constant, high profile and effective deterrent to criminals and antagonists. I previously worked for them, they sacked me for moaning about the long hours, when got last payment they took uniform and gave me envelope of shreaded paper. When got new job they harrased me at new job and had to isaue them woth banning order. They are the worst company ever so be aware. They are lucky they got 1 star

Worst company I've ever worked for was only there 4 weeks before I decided to jack it in, every weeks pay was wrong when I questioned the MD her response was why do u moan so much about money I said to her I earn I want it also never received a wage slip and the site I was at on bowerhill has no toilet facilities no running water nothing just a desk n chair basicly the cabin is rotten and moldy there is even a whole in the floor and someone has just put a patch over it, avoid this company at all costs

Worse company ever i did a shift for them agreed to pay 9 per hours on the 1st may 2015 Ocado site in Bristol. I haven't received my wages after 1.5 week. The person i talked with he said he will come back with the paperwork on the same shift at 12 pm when i contacted him during my shift he said he will be coming to see me in an hour with a paperwork during my shift he never returned and never answered my calls.
The next day i received a text message from a different person who i never see or spoke before. saying i will not will required and said they will pay me but ever since then i haven't received anything. In my opinions they are not professional not reliable and miss leading company, don't work for them before you sign the contract! Laszlo Verbo
