DON'T GET CCTV WITH THESE. We got CCTV installed around 2/3 years ago. We have had a few problems over the last year or so. We didn't have the maintenance plan but have asked to add it recently when we had some issues, however every issue we have had wouldn't be covered under the plan, so we had to pay for someone to come out anyway - What is the point in a maintenance plan if everything isn't covered?
All the issues they tell us are always "internet related". We had new broadband installed recently so they had to come out and reset it up. Don't know why they couldn't tell us how to do it - or told us upfront that we would have to pay for them to do that if we every changed BB provider. Anyway, our internet is fine all devices in the house are connected fine, no issues and the internet is connected to the CCTV but for some reason doesn't work.
They always try a fix over the phone and it never works which means they have to come out - how convenient when its 75 per hour plus VAT for the visit - which I will point out takes them less than 10 minutes to fix when they do arrive. The customer service is terrible with the office staff, one of the women is really argumentative they always make out it must be something we have done.
Yet we don't touch it. Our broadband provider always gets the blame, they don't take any responsibility. We had a problem today - which my partner has managed to resolve on his own, the engineer said over the phone he couldn't fix it unless he came out. Our mobile phone app won't connect either - but they have to come out and fix that as our app is different to the one they use - yet they installed the app!
They want to charge us 75 plus Vat for an engineer to come to our house to fix the app on our phone - what a joke! Personally, I would go elsewhere, the installation was pricey and it's always going off and is proving expensive to maintain - especially when these things are not covered under the maintenance plan.

Thanks to Jerry and the team for the recent upgrades to my security system it's a ( large ) number of years now that they have looked after my security requirements in terms of CCTV, intruder alarms, access control etc as my business has grown my systems have grown and they have always been great on advise, price and service and I have recommended them a number of times and will continue to do so keep up the great work.

Dear Jerry & The Crimewatch Team Re: CCTV Just want to say a massive thank you for all your help in supplying and fitting our work premises with CCTV. Due to the location of our unit, traffic is non existent during the night so thieves are able to come and go without being disturbed. Having your cameras up as a visible deterrent and high quality imagery that I can provide the police should something happen certainly puts my mind at ease.
What really impressed was the "outside the box" thinking when it came to the recording equipment, needing access to internet and power while location was of importance too.
