Will the police respond if my alarm system is activated? As long as the system is designed to meet the police policy in force in your area, yes they will. Is having an alarm system advertising the fact that I have something worth protecting? No. This may have once been the case but nowadays there are very few properties that have nothing of interest to intruders.
