The RDU (Rapid Deployment Unit) is a complete wire free system with up to 4 years expected battery life for controls, and up to 2 years for detection and camera devices. No mains power is therefore required for the system so it can be installed in almost any location.

I worked for this company for over 11 years but left a short while ago to save my mental health. I had three distinct phases of employment and showed a good helpful attitude in each. Despite good annual reviews during my employment I received three pay increases over that period totalling a gross pay increase of 85p an hour (and I mean gross in all senses of the word) which amounts to around 4p an hour net not even enough to cover the cost of a bar of chocolate let alone inflationary cost of living increases.
The atmosphere in the control room is trippy and abusive. I've lost count of the number of times I've said hello and goodbye to people joining and soon leaving. Apparently several more have left since I did three months ago. In fact when I left the management couldn't even be bothered to say goodbye to me let alone thanks for my long service. (Enough said).
